I am easily distracted by, pretty much anything; a butterfly flitting by, the glint of the sun on the window; adorable puppy eyes, etc... I have found a new, delightful distraction...networking on the Net! Poems are soaring into and flitting out of my head, I have found myself delegating them to background noise. Not a very sensible thing, who swats, impatiently at words wanting to join a poem or a story. It is my good fortune that they are persistent. Last night, said words, grabbed me by the scruff of my collar and insisted I give THEM attention. Characters dashed around in my mind, landscapes danced around behind my eyes and words lined up in nice straight sentences. It was all so pretty, it made me smile, and carried me off on adventures only children can understand. So, I have resumed research and writing, and given networking a backseat. I think all the places, on the net, to "flit like a social butterfly", may well be as addictive as coffee!!!
